In fairy tales Baba Yaga flies around in a mortar, wields a pestle, and dwells deep in the forest in a hut usually described as standing on chicken legs.
Baba Yaga may help or hinder those that encounter or seek her out and may play a maternal role; she has associations with forest wildlife.
A guardian of the fountains of the water of life, she lives in a forest hut that spins continually on birds’ legs. Her fence is topped with human skulls.
Baba Yaga can ride through the air—in an iron kettle or in a mortar that she drives with a pestle—creating tempests as she goes.
She often accompanies Death on his travels, devouring newly released souls.

The Prophetess is a witch who can predict the future.
Such an image of a bird-woman was noted as early as the Paleolithic of Eurasia, and in Central Europe in the Bronze Age there were special burial urns in the form of coarse female figures with wings.
The role of female birds was much more diverse and significant than prediction, and associated with the "magic of life", where the winged female deity is the guardian of the beginnings of being.
This Witch can turn into a jay. I caught her at that very magical moment of transformation.
People believe that the jay is a prophetic bird, so on December 11 women feed them and ask about their fate.
This bird has the ability to establish a connection between heaven and earth, due to which the strength of both of these principles increases.
She was considered a fortune teller, there was a belief that in the eyes of a jay one could see what awaits a person.

And yes, sometimes she is getting angry, and sad, and anxious, and... Well, we all have a shadow, right?
And she is not covering this side as well. She is learning how to accept others through the acceptance of herself.

The Good Witch from the North, if you remember "The Wizard of Oz"
You know, the one who told Dorothy about her real power.
She opened her a big secret: the power is always with us.
Her story if funny and a bit weird.
As all my dolls, I was making her without a plan or a sketch. She appeared with black face and hands, and I wanted to paint them, but she said: No! And she wanted a pink hair.
I gave up, and made it for her.
After she was ready, I suddenly found a description of her in the children's book, which I have never read before. Even the white dress matched!
She just wanted to come to life.
And here she is!

This is my interpretation of "Hansel and Gretel" fairy tale.
As the result of a family abuse children ran away from home and they were lost in the woods. The Witch of the Blackwood caught them and put in her cage.
She used to kidnap kids to steal their happiness and sincere joy. Who can survive without it? The Witch is taking them to her black nest in the deep dark hole. But these kids were brave enough to make a try to escape. They managed to open the cage and they're on the way to rescue their lives but what if the Witch turn around and catch them back?
Every second is showing the way they are...
